St. Barth, our way
Restaurants
Where we eat, area by area.
Gustavia
- Arawak Café≈ 5 min
The café of the Carré d’Or, between Hermès and Cartier: juices and smoothies through the day, cocktails and tapas from the early evening, and twice a month a mezcal tasting with live Latin music.
- Bagatelle St. Barth≈ 6 min
Dinner that ends on the tables: harbour-side from 7 pm, a DJ, the White Parties in season and the “Secret Mondays”. When we want to talk, we ask for the terrace.
- Bar des Prés≈ 6 min
Cyril Lignac’s Paris address, in Gustavia: sushi and shared plates between French technique and Japan, in a calm room by Lázaro Rosa-Violan. Dinner only, à la carte, and no children after 7 pm.
- Beefbar St Barth≈ 6 min
Riccardo Giraudi’s Beefbar at Fouquet’s, on the Lurin hillside above Gustavia bay: Kobe and Wagyu, but also king crab tacos and lobster rolls. Lunch or dinner; the view does the rest.
- Casa Coloniale≈ 6 min
The old Baz Bar reborn on the harbour: South American tapas, meats and fish from the wood fire by Thibault Pichard, and cocktails built as the main event. Dinner from 6 to midnight, every day.
- La Petite Plage St-Barthélemy≈ 6 min
A beach hut on the harbour front, feet in the sand facing the boats, Éric Frechon’s summer cooking; jazz at sunset, then singers, dancers and a DJ under the stars.
- Le Café Saint-Barth≈ 6 min
The piano bar of the Saint-Tropez and Courchevel house, on the harbour: a brasserie where the singers sing Piaf and Aznavour after dinner and the whole room sings along. Lunch too, without the piano.
- Lucali St-Barth≈ 6 min
Mark Iacono’s Brooklyn pizzeria, in the old Mi Brasa on rue de la France: thin crust from the wood oven, calzone, no menu to study. Evenings only, and children are welcome.
- MAMO – MICHELANGELO≈ 6 min
Mamo’s Antibes house, thirty years old, on the harbour: truffle raviolini, lamb shoulder from the wood fire, truffle focaccia, and a truffle margarita at the Bar Classico. Closed on Wednesdays.
- Pablo Saint-Barth≈ 6 min
The Saint-Tropez Pablo, redone for the island: the rooftop opens at sunset over the masts and the red roofs, plates to share — tacos, sashimi, guacamole — then the Night Bar downstairs until 2 am.
- Bonito Saint Barth≈ 7 min
Since 2009, Laurent Cantineaux’s French kitchen with ten years of Venezuela in it: ceviches and tiraditos, the charcoal grill, a resident DJ, and the harbour lights below. Book in season.
- La Guérite≈ 7 min
The Cannes house on the tip of the harbour since 2015, between fishing boats and yachts: Yiannis Kioroglou’s Greek-Mediterranean grill, then the DJ and the terrace until 2 am.
Saint-Jean
- Eden Rock – St Barths≈ 8 min
The Sand Bar, feet in the Saint-Jean sand: Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s truffle pizza and lobster salad at lunch, the finer menu at night, and Rémy Bar for a drink beforehand.
- La Casina St Barth≈ 8 min
“La Case” meets Italy in Saint-Jean: a bistro and wood-oven pizzeria, open from 6 pm every day except Tuesday. Our no-effort dinner, a few minutes from the house.
Lorient and Saline
- Tamarin St Barth≈ 11 min
Dinner under the hundred-year-old tamarind tree on the Saline road, in a garden of banana trees and ponds: one of the island’s oldest addresses, now Julie and Paco’s, with Jérôme Lebeau in the kitchen.
Elsewhere on the island
- Sella St Barth≈ 5 min
Assaf Granit’s Jerusalem on the rocks of Public beach, five minutes from the house: “sella” means rock; plates to share, a kitchen that plays loud, and the sea at the end of the table.
- Le Ti St Barth≈ 16 min
Carole Gruson’s cabaret since 1995, in a Creole house on Pointe Milou: the charcoal grill, a show, a costume corner, and by the end everyone is on the tables. Adults only; not a quiet dinner.
