Cancellation
What applies when a stay is cancelled, by you or by us. The date we receive a written cancellation sets the tier.
More than 90 days before arrival
We refund what has been paid, less an administrative fee of 5% of that amount.
Between 90 and 61 days
We retain half of what has been paid.
60 days or less
There is no refund, and the stay remains due in full.
If the dates are re-let
If we let the villa again for the same dates, we refund what has been paid, less the same 5% administrative fee.
Named storm
If a named storm closes Gustaf III or Sint Maarten on the day of arrival, the stay moves to new dates or becomes a credit rather than being lost.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance covering cancellation. It covers the reasons this scale does not.
If we cancel
If the villa becomes unavailable, we refund everything paid, in full, and offer comparable dates where we can.
How to cancel
Cancel in writing to contact@villacielstbarth.com, or by letter to the registered office given in the legal notice. The date we receive it sets the tier.
