How Villa Ciel handles the personal data you give it — your name, your dates, your message.
Who is responsible
The data controller is SABAL ST BARTH, the company that lets the villa; its identity and registered office are in the legal notice. Write to contact@villacielstbarth.com for anything concerning your data.
What is collected
Your name, email address and telephone number, the dates and party size of your request, and the message you write. Nothing else.
Why
To answer your request, prepare a quote, hold a booking, and meet the tax and accounting obligations that follow.
Legal basis
Steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of that contract, and our legal obligations.
How long
We keep an enquiry that leads to no booking for three years from our last contact with you, a booking file for five years after the stay, and accounting records for ten years, as French law requires.
Who sees it
The owner, the villa manager, and the providers that run the site: Vercel for hosting, Supabase for the database, Resend for email. Nobody else, and we sell nothing to anyone.
Transfers outside the EU
Vercel, Supabase and Resend hold data in the United States, so your data leaves the European Union. Each of them contracts with us on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You may ask us for access to your data, for its rectification or erasure, for the restriction of its processing and for its portability, and you may object to its processing. Write to contact@villacielstbarth.com and we answer within one month.

You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, or on cnil.fr.
