The villa
Three pavilions, and what they are made of.
Villa Ciel was completed in 2024 as three separate pavilions set around a lawn and a pool: an open living pavilion, a master pavilion, and a pavilion holding two further bedrooms. Each one opens to the sea and has its own outdoor shower.
White timber ceilings, pale oak, honed stone and linen — the house is as quiet in its materials as it is in its position. Every bedroom has a king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and twin basins, air conditioning, a safe and a desk.

01 Architecture
Three pavilions around a lawn and a pool.
The house is not one building but three, set apart on the same hillside terrace. The living pavilion holds 35 m² of open living, dining and kitchen under a single vaulted ceiling and opens on three sides onto the covered deck. The master pavilion stands on its own. The third holds the two remaining bedrooms.
Because the bedrooms sit in separate buildings, nobody crosses anybody else’s room to reach the pool, and the master is far enough from the other two that a late dinner outside is not heard from a bed. The pool and the lawn are the middle of the plan — everything faces them, and beyond them the ground falls away toward the water.

Open on three sides: the doors here are shutters, not walls.
02 Materials and light
White timber, pale oak, honed stone, linen.
The ceilings are white-painted timber, vaulted the full height of each pavilion. The joinery is pale oak — beds, wardrobes, desks, the dining table and its six chairs. The bathrooms are honed stone, floor and wall, with dark basins set into oak. The soft materials are linen and washed cotton, and there is nothing else: no pattern, no colour that did not arrive with the view.
Light arrives twice. Straight off the water in the morning, when the doors are still open from the night; then filtered through white louvres once the sun is high. Every room closes down to a slot of shade or opens until the room and the terrace are one space.

03 Floor plans
What a photograph cannot show.
The two bedroom pavilions were surveyed and drawn in April 2025. Areas below are approximate and read from those plans.

How the master pavilion and the two-bedroom pavilion sit on the terrace.

Bedroom 27.41 m², separate WC 1.68 m², ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Two rooms of about 26 m² each, bathroom included; one ensuite bathroom apiece.
04 Virtual tour
Walk through the house before you ask.
The 360° tour was filmed inside Villa Ciel in April 2025: every room, both bedroom pavilions, the living pavilion, the deck and the pool. It loads only when you ask for it, so nothing from another site runs on this page until you do.

05 Who it suits
Six people who know each other well.
Villa Ciel was drawn for six and is not stretched further: three bedrooms of near-equal standing, three bathrooms, one table. It suits two couples, a family of five or six with grown children, or friends taking a bedroom each.
There is no sofa bed and no room held back to open up, so the honest answer to seven is no. Children are welcome — the pool carries an immersion alarm — but the lawn runs to an open edge above the hillside, and the water here is watched rather than fenced.
06 Questions
Asked before nearly every stay.
- How many people can stay at Villa Ciel?
- Six, in three bedrooms with a king-size bed each. There is no sofa bed and no additional sleeping space, so six is the limit rather than a starting point.
- What are the check-in and check-out times?
- Arrival from 15:00, departure by 12:00. The villa manager is there for both. An earlier arrival or a later departure can sometimes be arranged around the day’s other movements — ask when you request your dates.
- Is the villa air-conditioned?
- Every bedroom is air-conditioned and has blackout and sheer curtains. The living pavilion is open on three sides and lives on the trade wind rather than on air conditioning.
- Is there Wi-Fi?
- Yes — satellite Wi-Fi (Starlink) covers the house and the terraces. It is a satellite link on a small island: good enough to work from, and not something we will put a number on.
- Is there parking at the villa?
- Yes, covered parking at the lower level of the property, alongside the laundry, the technical room and the gym. Cars and scooters are usually hired on the island; the manager can arrange it before you land.
- Is the pool safe for children?
- The pool is fitted with an immersion alarm certified to the French NF P90-307-1 standard. It is a safety device, not a substitute for an adult watching the water, and the lawn runs to an open edge above the hillside.
